Emily graduated from the University of Idaho with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance.
She had the opportunity to work with amazing theatre instructors such as Kelly Quinnett, David Lee-Painter, and Matt Foss. She has trained extensively in acting, singing, and dancing with a specialization in tap dancing, belting, Shakespeare, and dialects. Emily is currently based out of Washington state where she is auditioning regularly for stage and film. She most recently played the Major General in Mid Columbia Musical Theatre's production of The Pirates of Penzance, directed by Abigail Merz.
Emily started acting at the age of five as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol and has been caught up in the magic of the stage ever since. She participated in every play, musical, talent show, and performance she could while growing up. She now teaches singing and acting lessons to those who are interested in expanding their skill in theatre and music and has loved passing on her knowledge.

Emily spent several years in Chicago, auditioning for professional theaters. She had the pleasure of working with Jillian Erickson at the Beast Women in 2018 and Steve Scott and Tito Sanchez-Williams at the Dunes Summer Theatre for three summers.

Emily believes that telling stories is the way humans connect with one another, it is how we learn about people who are different from us. Her favorite quote about theatre is by Tom Stoppard in which he says, “Words are sacred. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones, in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.”
